How do property taxes work in Indiana? This and other questions will be answered in a Purdue Extension workshop presented at the Daviess County Security Center, 101 N.E. 4th Street, Washington, IN, on May 16, 2017, 1:00 – 3:30 p.m. (EDT).

Local elected officials and community members will learn more about our local government revenue system while exploring trends in Clay, Daviess, Greene, Knox, Martin, Owen & Sullivan Counties. The workshop will feature detailed reports for each of these counties.

The workshop features Dr. Larry DeBoer, Purdue University, Department of Agricultural Economics; Tamara Ogle, Purdue Extension Community Development Regional Educator; Amanda Mosiman, Purdue Extension-Warrick County; and Hans Schmitz, Purdue Extension-Gibson County. The program is hosted by Senator Eric Bassler, Daviess County Auditor Patty Ball & Purdue Extension Community Development Associate Educator Cindy Barber.
