The Jasper Police Department made two arrest Wednesday night after a traffic stop were a handgun, drug paraphernalia and meth were found.

At around 8:30 pm on Wednesday night the Jasper Police initiated a traffic stop at the location of 36th and Mill St. of a 2005 Chevy Equinox driven by 23-year-old Dylan Lewis Crays of Jasper.

Upon investigation K-9 officer Ares indicated on the vehicle which led to the discovery of a handgun along with meth and paraphernalia.

Driver Dylan Crays and his passenger 32-year-old Demetrius Greer were both arrested and lodged into the Dubois County Security Center.

Greer is facing a Level 4 Felony charge with possession of a handgun by a violent felon, misdemeanor charges of possession of a handgun with out a license, along with possession charges for paraphernalia and a Level 6 Felony for possession of a methamphetamine .

Crays charges include a Level 6 Felony charge of possession of methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of a handgun with out a license and possession charges for paraphernalia.
