In the late afternoon Jasper Police made an arrest in a months long investigation of a case that involved burglary and theft.

 

The Jasper Police dept. received a report from a home owner in the city that their home had been burglarized. The complainant advised that sometime between April 28th and July 3rd of this year someone had broke into their home and stole over 12,000 dollars, sliver certificates and misc. old coins.

Through the course of the investigation it was determined that 19 year old Logan Seger of Jasper had broken into the home, accessed the safe and stole the items out of it.

Seger was arrested and charged with Burglary and Theft and was lodged into the Dubois County Security center.

The Jasper Police report that this is an ongoing investigation and other arrest are expected.
