Robert Eugene Hunt, 77, of Huntingburg, passed away at 10:23 p.m., on Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
He was born January 17, 1940, in Muncie, Indiana to Oris and Evelyn (Wyne) Hunt; and married Glenda A. Tull on June 22, 1979, in Crawfordsville. Robert was a retired Indiana State Police trooper. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda A. Hunt of Huntingburg; daughters, Connie De La Cruz and Teresa Hughes both of Cloverdale; son, Randy Hunt of Putnamville; stepdaughter, Cassandra Cheatham of Greencastle; brother, Gary Dean Hunt of Philadelphia, PA; by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Robert Hunt will be held at 2:00 p.m., E.D.T., on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg.
