A Perry county man who as it turned out was wanted on an active warrant out of Orange County and a Pike County man were both taken into custody after a fight broke out between the two at a Jasper residence early Tuesday evening.

Shortly after 6 o’clock last night, Jasper Police were called to a fight in progress in the yard of the residence located at the corner of 13th and Newton Streets.

When officers arrived, witnesses advised there was a physical altercation between 28-year old James Foley of Bristow and 37-year old Joshua Nolan of Winslow.

The two were both placed under arrest and taken to the Dubois County Security Center where they were booked for disorderly conduct.

Police say Foley was also found to have an active warrant out of Orange County.
