Kimball International, Inc.) announced that the Kimball International-Habig Foundation is donating $5,000 to the American Red Cross Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. Employees are also rallying to support their teammates, customers, and the entire Houston area community by a special ‘fill the truck’ donation drive.

Coordinated by employees of the Kimball brand unit, a Kimball International trailer is parked at the company’s headquarters campus in Jasper, Indiana as a collection point for employee donations. Items being collected include toiletries, cleaning supplies, blankets & pillows, clothing, shoes, non-perishable food and bottled water. Houston area Kimball employee Mike Carr has arranged for delivery to a designated relief center when the region is ready to receive shipment.

“It is a company-wide effort with participation by employees of all parts of our company, the Kimball, National and Kimball Hospitality brand units and our Shared Services team,” said Lonnie Nicholson, Chief Administrative Officer
