Tony A. Byers, age 65, of Holland, passed away at 5:30 p.m., on Monday, July 31, 2017, at his residence.
He was born August 16, 1951, in Huntingburg, Indiana; and was united in marriage to Avis M. Seufert on May 31, 1975. Tony worked at Kimball for 30 years; was a member of Holland High School’s Class of 1970 and the Dale Bible Church; and enjoyed the outdoors, car shows, and spending time with his grandchildren and family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley (Daugherty) Byers.
Tony is survived by his wife, Avis M. Byers of Holland; his daughter and son-in-law, April (Andrew) Heid of Dale; his son and daughter-in-law, Zane (Kisha) Byers of Evansville; one brother, Wally Byers of Holland; and two grandchildren, Nelleigh Harker and Emilie Heid.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Friday, August 4, 2017, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. Pastor Justin Halder will officiate at the service.
