Wanda Hayes, 68, of Derby passed away Friday, October 27th at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City. Wanda was born December 22, 1948 in Gainesville, Georgia to Joe and Louise (Cape) White. She married Randy Hayes on April 8, 1968 in Cornelius, Georgia.

Wanda was a retried CNA and had previously spent many years working at the Ferdinand American Legion. She was an avid baseball fan, especially of the Atlanta Braves. Wanda enjoyed watching IU basketball and also being with family. She loved spending time with her grandkids.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Randy Hayes of Derby; a daughter, Tammy (Darren) Haas of St. Anthony and her three grandchildren, Savanna, Shane and Reece Haas all of St. Anthony.

Wanda was preceded in death by a brother, Bill White; two sisters, Margie Bell and Betty Hauser.
