KYOCERA Document Solutions America, one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, today announced the National Winner of the Kyocera Technical Service Awards Competition.

Steve Moeller from Hoosier Buisness Machines (based in Jasper, IN) was named the Kyocera Top Technician for 2017, among 4,000 technicians at Kyocera dealerships throughout the United States. The 3-stage competition began in July with an online test of overall proficiency and Kyocera-specific expertise, including installation, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting for any TASKalfa MFP, printer or business application. Top performers then competed in one of five on-site regional finals.

Earlier this month, Steve Moeller placed first and HBM technician Jeff Horney placed 2nd in the Regional competition in Chicago. Steve was awarded with a trip to the National Training Center in Dallas, TX where he competed in a full-day series of challenges covering any technical aspect on any Kyocera device. Steve will now join other winners from around the world for an all-expense paid trip to Japan and Vietnam, including tours of Kyocera facilities in both countries.
