Donald Ray Cooper, 63, of Ferdinand passed away, Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper.
Donald was born January 28, 1954 in Huntingburg to Delbert and Trancy (Taylor) Cooper. Donald was a member of the Independent Union of Operating Engineers 181.
He enjoyed boating and being with family.
Delbert is survived by a son, Brad Cooper of Ferdinand; a daughter, Alison Cooper of Hilliard, OH; one sister, Mary (Don) Schneider of Evansville. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Trancy; one brother, Jerry Cooper; two sisters, Betty Wagner and Joan Wirthwein.
A memorial service will be held at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 5-8:00 PM.
