Barbara Zahn, age 78, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 5:38 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2018, at The Timbers of Jasper.

Barbara was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on January 28, 1939, to Richard and Mary Ellen (Hurt) Miller.  She married to James J. Zahn.  He preceded her in death.

Barbara worked as a statistics clerk for the United States Census Bureau for 20 years.

She enjoyed reading Grace Livingston Hill books.

Surviving are two daughters, Mary Catherine Hall, Sellersburg, IN, Joyce (John) Truba, Vevay, IN, two sons, John D. Truelove, Loogootee, IN, Thomas A. Truelove, Shoals, IN, two grandchildren, Corbin Truelove and Noah Truelove.

Preceding her in death besides her husband, are two brothers, Robert E. and James A. Truelove.

Private services for Barbara Zahn were held at Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home in Jasper, Indiana.
