Charles Allen Napier, age 69 of Jasper, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded with the love of his family at 12:06 a.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at his home.
Charles Allen was born in Wayne, West Virginia on March 4, 1948 to Henry and Juanita (Ferguson) Napier. He married his wife of 47 years, Gail Schneider on March 13, 1971 in Walled Lake, Michigan.
He served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Widefield in Security Colorado.
He spent his life working with and selling cars, owning and operating several auto body repair shops and Riverside Motors in Jasper.
He enjoyed fishing, golfing, singing and playing guitar, and spending time with friends and family. His passion in life was to make people smile and laugh. He never met a stranger and will be dearly missed.
Surviving is his wife, Gail Napier of Jasper, one daughter, Valerie Kippenbrock (Brad), Jasper, two sons, Patrick Napier (Angela), Indianapolis, IN, David Napier (Karrie), Loogootee, IN, twelve grandchildren, Nicholas, Jonathon, Tyler, and Andrew Gagnon, Haley, Hunter, and Hadlie Kippenbrock, Quinn Charles Napier, Aden Esquivel, Maren Smith, Keaton Allen and Kieragen Napier, two sisters, Pauline Tate (Jim) Lawrenceville, GA and Anita Smith (Gary), Wayne, WV, one brother, Sherman Napier (Barbara), Genoa, WV, and many wonderful nieces and nephews, all of whom he dearly loved.
Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers, Donald and Randall Napier, and one sister, Henrietta Hoffman.
Funeral services for Charles Allen Napier will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, Indiana with burial to follow in Shiloh Cemetery in Jasper. Pastor John Duncan will officiate. The VFW Post #673 will conduct military gravesite rites.
A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, IN.
