Jasper police arrested a Huntingburg woman after finding her in possession of Heroin.

Around 8 p.m. Thursday night Jasper police were called to the location of Wooden Keg Liquors after a report came in that a female who was impaired was in the parking lot.

When officers arrived they made contact with 22-year old Megan Wehr of Huntingburg.  During a brief investigation officers located approximately 1 gram of Heroin in Wehr’s possession as well as a straw used to snort the drug.

Wehr was taken to Memorial Hospital for medical clearance and was later transported to the Dubois County Security Center. She is facing a Level 6 Felony Count of Possession of a Schedule 1 Drug and a Class C Misdemeanor Charge of Possession of Paraphernalia.
