Donna Marie Carter, age 64, of Jasper, passed away at 11:30 p.m., on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at Springs Valley Meadows in French Lick, Indiana.
She was born February 9, 1954 in Huntingburg, Indiana to Howard Lee and Margaret Jean (Lee) Carter. Donna worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant; and enjoyed crocheting, knitting and reading. She was preceded in death by her mother; and one brother, David Carter.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Megan Carter of French Lick; her father, Howard Carter of Washington;two siblings, Debbie Meyerholtz of Stendal and Danny Carter of Petersburg; four grandchildren, Rebecca, Patrick, Kimberly and Christian Gentry all of French Lick; and great granddaughter, Teaghan Coffey.
Graveside services for Donna Marie Carter will be held at 11:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Cup Creek Cemetery near Velpen. Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the burial arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the funeral home to assist with burial expenses.
