Doris June Wibbeler, age 87, of Huntingburg, formerly of Holland, passed away at 12:40 p.m., on Monday, March 19, 2018, at The Waters of Huntingburg.

She was born July 25, 1930 in Oakland City, Indiana to Harry and Sarah (Bowman) Holderbaugh.  Doris graduated from Oakland City High School in 1948; and married Wallace Wibbeler on July 3, 1949, at the Holland Methodist parsonage.  She was employed as a lab technician at Holland Dairy for 27 ½ years; was a member of the Holland United Methodist Church and Holland United Methodist Women; and enjoyed following the church’s softball team, playing bridge, canning produce from the garden, and spending time with all her grandchildren.  Doris was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wallace Wibbeler, who passed away June 18, 2013; two brothers, Paul and Cleon Holderbaugh; and one sister, Lucille Arnold.

She is survived by three daughters and three sons-in-law, Debra (Alan) Carmack of Evansville, Jennifer (Alan) Kern of Huntingburg and Beth (Earl) Carter of Huntingburg; one son and daughter-in-law, Jon (Betty) Wibbeler of Holland; by (9) grandchildren, (2) step grandchildren, (20) great grandchildren and (6) step great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Doris Wibbeler will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at the Holland United Methodist Church in Holland with burial to follow at the Holland United Methodist Cemetery.  Pastor Keith Chanley will officiate at the service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 21st; and also at the church one hour prior to the funeral on Thursday.  Memorial contributions can be made to The Waters of Huntingburg Activity Room Fund or to the charity of your choice.  Condolences may be shared online at:  www.nassandson.com
