Beginning Friday, March 9th,Sandbags can be taken to the following Spencer County Solid Waste Drop off sites during their normal business hours:

Rockport: Mon, Thursday, Friday from 10am – 6pm, and Saturday from 8am-4pm

Hatfield: Tues, Wed, Thurs from 10am-6pm, and Sat from 8am-4pm

Chrisney: Mon, Wed, Friday from 10am-6pm, and Sat from 8am-4pm

Evanston: Tuesday from 10am-6pm, and Saturday from 8am-4pm

While at the drop off site, empty the sand into the dumpster and put the sandbag into the compactor.

If there is a large amount (150 or more sandbags), contact the EMA Office to see if assistance is available.

DAMAGE REPORTING:

To report damage to your home caused by the flood waters, go to in.gov/dhs. Scroll down to the first section in the middle, which will be damage reporting for flooding: February 15, 2018 and continuing.
