One person complained of pain and another person was cited after a four car chain reaction accident late Tuesday afternoon on Jasper’s northside.

Jasper Police say around 5 pm yesterday, vehicles driven by 56-year old Scott Koterman of Sun City Arizona, 51-year old Keith Dorsam of Dubois, and 52-year old Todd Hopf of Jasper were all stopped for northbound traffic at the intersection 28th and Newton Streets.

They say a fourth vehicle driven by 38-year old Melinda Cook-Grey of Birdseye rear ended Koterman’s SUV, causing it to rear end Dorsam’s SUV, which in turn struck the rear of Hopf’s pickup.

Koterman complained of chest and shoulder pain. He was treated at the scene by EMS but was not transported to the hospital.

A total of 24-thousand dollars in total damages was sustained in the accident.

Jasper Police ticketed Cook-Grey for Following Too Closely.
