DAISY AWARD

 

Kristin Fest, a registered nurse in Surgical Services, has been been named as the latest recipient of
Jasper’s Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center’s DAISY Award.

Fest has been described as one who takes time to talk and listen to her patients. She offers words of kindness, comfort and compassion. She is truly an example of “Being for Others”.

The DAISY Award is an international program that rewards and celebrates the extraordinary clinical skill and compassionate care given by nurses every day.

GARDENER AWARD

 

Patty Seitz of Laboratory Services is the next recipient of the Memorial Hospital and Health care Center GARDENER award.

Seitz is described having a caring attitude, a willingness to assist others, and attention to detail that embodies the qualities and spirit of the Gardener Award.

Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center created The GARDENER Award as a result of the internationally known DAISY Award that recognizes the super-human efforts nurses perform every day.

The GARDENER Award was created to acknowledge incredible support staff that goes above and beyond his/her regular call of duty.
