Denny Spinner has filed for a third term as Mayor of Huntingburg.

Spinner made the announcement Friday in a post on his Facebook Page.

He says serving in the office for the past seven years has been the highest honor he can imagine.

Spinner says it has been a privilege to work with so many dedicated people to make the city a better place to live and work.

Spinner as he filed to seek a third term as Mayor thanked everyone for their amazing support and encouragement as he and his wife made the decision to seek re-election.

He says as he did eight years ago, he pledged that he is dedicated to build on Huntingburg’s tremendous strengths and continue to strive to be the best Huntingburg we can be, a true City Like No Other.

Spinner is a 1974 graduate of Southridge High School graduate. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University and an associate’s degree from Vincennes University.

Spinner worked many years in broadcasting locally including WBDC Radio. He later worked at the St. Meinrad School of Theology and for Quantum Solutions before first running for Mayor in 2011.

Spinner and his wife Shari have three adult children and seven grandchildren.
