Authorities with Dubois County Sheriffs Office are asking the public to keep an eye out for a man they say is believed to have been going through vehicles after they responded to the St. Anthony/St. Marks area Monday morning in regards to a report of suspicious activity

Around 9 am yesterday officers were called to and responded to the area and identified the male individual.

Authorities are not releasing his name at this time, however, they say he was last seen wearing a brown Carhartt jacket and jeans.

They say it is possible that the subject had been going through vehicles looking for items to steal, or a vehicle to steal.

Deputies with the Sheriff’s department ask everyone in the area to make sure that you never leave the keys in your vehicle, always lock your doors, and keep an extra eye out for anything suspicious.

Authorities say the exact whereabouts of the individual is not known.
