The Spencer County division is working to raise funds to donate to the American Cancer Society research and development efforts.

Numerous events will take place at this year’s Spencer County Relay for Life, creating a packed schedule that even surprises Schaefer.

This event not only works to raise funds through each participating Relay team’s hard work but also inspires individuals in attendance.  Faith Schaefer described such a moment that occurred last year.

The Spencer County Relay for Life is Saturday, June 1st at the AEP Honey Creek Farm, located at 1745 East County Road 500 in Rockport. The day’s events last from 11 AM to 11 PM, Central time. Donations are accepted on site. For more information on how you can contribute to the American Cancer Society’s efforts, speak to event organizers this Saturday during the Relay for Life.
