One of the last net makers in the state and some of his friends are making their way to Jasper this weekend to teach fishing knots.

Larry Haycraft of Petersburg, Joe “Swampy”  and Cameron Schoenbachler, Chad Elkins, and Tom Buechler are coming to the Dubois County Museum for the “Learn To Tie A Fly Fishing Fly” program tomorrow.

Haycraft says that he and his friends are teaching how to make fly-fishing lures.

Each person will each teach how to tie different fly-fishing knots.

The activity is open to all ages. The program takes place at the Dubois County Museum at 10 am and is repeated again at 1 pm.

Admission to the museum will be charged, but the fly-fishing program is free.
