Spencer County officials got together Friday morning for their county-wide update at United Methodist Church in Chrisney.

Councilmember Todd Grundhoefer, Commissioner Tom Brown, North Spencer School Corporation superintendent Dan Scherry, South Spencer School superintendent Dr. Richard Rutherford, and County Sheriff Kelli Reinke all took turns to inform the public about what all they are doing behind the scenes.

Executive Director for the Spencer County Regional Chamber of Commerce, Kathy Reinke explains one of the high points of the meeting, and of the county as a whole.

However, Reinke says the county has also faced a few challenges.

And these were only a few topics discussed in the update. For more information, you can head to the Spencer County Chamber of Commerce Facebook page and see a video of the entire update.
