ZipMed Urgent Care (formerly Medical of Dubois) in Jasper is proud to announce that it has been qualified by the Veterans Administration as the first local facility to provide urgent care services to our area veterans. Veterans with non-life threatening health needs may be seen and treated at the ZipMed Urgent Care location in Jasper at any time without an appointment and without a copay, seven days a week.

This new benefit for veterans is pursuant to the MISSION act passed in June, which creates a partnership between the VA and participating private clinics. ZipMed Urgent Care is proud to locally lead this revolution in care for our veterans, as those needing urgent care no longer need to make a lengthy drive to a regional VA medical clinic, no longer need to make an appointment and no longer need to have a lengthy wait to get the care they deserve. Located at 695 3rd Avenue in Jasper, ZipMed Urgent Care is currently the only VA-approved urgent care in a 30-mile radius.

Dr. Thomas Field and his staff at ZipMed Urgent Care (formerly Medical of Dubois) have been serving the urgent care needs of Southern Indiana for more than 20 years with the familiar slogan of “Get in, get out, get well!” The Loogootee location of ZipMed Urgent Care (formerly Urgent Care of Martin County) will likely also be participating in the VA program in the near future, but its participation remains pending as of the time of this release.
