A Honda Civic is a total loss after catching fire last week.

Jasper Volunteer Firefighters responded to Cherry Street and Kellerville Road on reports of a car fire around 4:45 pm on Friday.

According to Fire Chief Kenny Hochgesang, the car is totally destroyed. No other information is being released at this time.

18 firefighters and four trucks were on the scene for about 15 minutes.
