Vincennes University Jasper will host a special play about suicide and mental health.

Josh Rivedal will perform the Broadway-style, one-man show “Kicking My Blue Genes in the Butt” on Nov. 5 in the Vincennes University Jasper Campus Classroom Building Lecture Hall from 11:50 a.m.-1 p.m. (EST).

The re-scheduled performance is free and open to the public. It addresses themes of suicide prevention and mental health awareness. It is part of a Lunch and Learn event originally slated for Sept. 26. The 60-minute, three-part program features the play, an education session, and a discussion focusing on mental health.

Rivedal is an actor, international public speaker, author, and playwright. As a public speaker, he focuses on suicide prevention, mental health, diversity/inclusion, and anti-bullying.
