A Jasper man is facing battery charges after a domestic dispute over the weekend.
Police responded to a domestic battery incident at a home on 3rd Avenue in Jasper on Sunday night.
After investigating the incident, police determined that 39-year-old Bryan Steimel battered someone in the presence of a minor and took him into custody.
Steimel was booked into the Dubois County Security Center and charged with domestic battery in the presence of a minor and domestic battery.
