80-year-old Ruth Ann Raufeisen, of Eckerty, passed away at 5:40 a.m., Sunday, July 11, 2021, at her home in Eckerty.
She was born September 15, 1940, in Huntingburg, Indiana to Henry and Lola Mae (Chumbley) Deel; and married Sherman Raufeisen on November 24, 1956. Ruth Ann and Sherman were “snowbirds”, spending their winters in Florida and going to flea markets. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and one sister.
Ruth Ann is survived by her husband, Sherman Raufeisen; two sons, Jeff (Libby) Raufeisen and Rick (Angie) Raufeisen; one daughter, Susan Ares all of Eckerty; two sisters, Mary Margaret (Vernon, “Jr.”) Andry of Florida and Janice (Darrell) Ball of Ft. Wayne, IN; (5) grandchildren, (2) step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.
There will be no services held for Ruth Ann Raufeisen.
Nass and Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
