(Birdseye, IN) Albertenia Faye Kennedy, age 78, of Birdseye, passed away at 8:47 a.m., on July 17, 2023, at The Waters of Huntingburg.

                She was born September 23, 1944, in Birdseye, to James and Nellie Marie (King) Kennedy.  Faye was a factory worker, and elderly caregiver; and ran a food bank out of her home for 7 years.  She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Raymond Daum; and her companion, Willie Pierce.

                She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia McClellan of Santa Claus; two sons, Loren Daum of Jasper and James “Jimmy” Smith of Ferdinand; and by six grandchildren.

                Funeral services for Albertenia Faye Kennedy will be held at 12:00 p.m., E.D.T., on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg.  Burial will follow at Andry Cemetery in Birdseye.  Reverend Albert Madden will officiate the service.

                Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., on Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home.  Condolences may be shared online at:  www.nassandson.com
