Mildred L. “Millie” Blemker, age 90 of Holland, passed away at 11:45 p.m., on Wednesday July 12, 2023 at her residence.

She was born October 3, 1932, in Birdseye, to Robert Lane and Mable (King) Nordhoff; and married James E. Blemker on August 3, 1974, at Huntingburg United Methodist Church.  She was a member of Zoar United Methodist Church. She enjoyed antiquing, auctions, flowers, canning, cooking, and baking. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant brother, Alan.

She is survived by three daughters, Sherri (Danny) O’Brian of Washington, Staci (Kevin) Nordhoff of Ferdinand, Kathy (Ron) Hudson of Patoka; and one son, Kevin (Jerri) Blemker of Petersburg; two brothers, Bobby (Ruby) Lane and Joe (Peggy) Nordhoff both of Birdseye; nine grandchildren, Joshua, Heather, Brodey, Taylor, Colton, Kayla, Alyssa, Christina, Jordan; and 11 great grand-children, Jaxson, Karli, Kane, Kennedi, Beau, Lani, Maggie, Carly, Jocelyn, Luke, and Hannah. 

Funeral services for Mildred L. Blemker will be held at 10:00 am, E.D.T, Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.  Rev, Albert Madden will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00-7:00 pm, on Tuesday at Nass & Son Funeral Home.
