Just before 1:00 am local time this morning, officers from the Tell City Police Department, Perry County Sheriff’s Office, and Cannelton Police Department responded to a disturbance underway at Perry County Memorial Hospital. 

Responding personnel included Sergeant Heather Glenn, a 20-year veteran of the Tell City Police Department. Sergeant Glenn arrived at the scene and encountered 34-year-old Sean Hubert of Tell City. 

Gunfire was exchanged that resulted in Sergeant Glenn and Hubert being wounded. Both were critically injured and succumbed to their injuries at the scene. 

The affiliate stations of DC Broadcasting would like to join the community in offering our most sincere condolences to sergeant Glenn’s loved ones and all who are affected by this senseless tragedy.
