Beulah M. Fischer, age 95, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 10:10 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, in St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper, Indiana.

Beulah was born in Lamar, Indiana, on September 5, 1927, to Thomas and Sadie (Conner) Newton. She married Hugo Fischer in June of 1955. He preceded her in death on April 1, 1981. She then married Jack Kinney in December 1989. He preceded her in death in 2013.

She was a Chrisney High School graduate.

Beulah retired at Krempp Lumber as a secretary after 35 years. She thought of all the Krempps as family.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the V.F.W. Auxiliary, and Ladies of the Moose.

Beulah enjoyed gardening, entertaining, reading, listening to music, and spending time with family.

She is survived by nieces; April Blessinger, Geri Ziegler, Carla Newton, Brenda Carmen, Rosemary Stockham, JoAnn O’Brian, Connie Miller, Debie Stockburger, and Deanna Allen, nephews; Tom Egg, Keith Egg, Hilbert Klein, Jim Klein, Tom and Jeff Newton, Paul Jordan and two step-children; Terry Kinney and Debbie Chandler.

Preceding her in death is one son; Lance Conner, her husbands; Hugo Fischer and Jack Kinney, two sisters; Helen Klein and Edith Egg, and three brothers; Tom Newton, William “Bill” Newton, and Raymond “Gene” Newton.

The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice and the volunteers and staff at St. Charles Health Campus for their excellent care.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Beulah M. Fischer will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 28, 2023, in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at the church on Monday.
