Due to a water main break, the Jasper Municipal Water Department is issuing a neighborhood boil order affecting a very small portion of the city. The area affected is South Meridian Road to 164. This includes the Ruxer Lake houses and houses behind Sultans Run. This is the only affected area!
Jasper Municipal Water Department will send updates and when the boil order is lifted. The boil order will last a minimum of 48 hours or until 2 consecutive water samples pass testing.
Residents affected are asked to boil their water for 5 minutes before Human and Pet consumption. The water is safe for bathing.
