Andrew John “A.J.” Long, Jr., age 32, of Huntingburg, passed away at 4:30 a.m., on Sunday, October        22, 2023, in Tell City, Indiana.

He was born December 29, 1990, in Huntingburg, Indiana, to Andrew J. Long, Sr. and Lisa (Denu) Stilwell; and married Hailey N. Leistner on August        21, 2021.  Andrew worked at Sun Energy as a coal mining heavy equipment operator. He loved his family, mudding, and working on cars.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ron Denu; and stepdaughter, Lilly Leistner.

He is survived by his wife, Hailey N. Long of Huntingburg; two children, Ayden Leistner and Axel Long both at home and one child on the way, Rollin Long; his father and stepmother, Andrew (Janelle) Long, Sr. of Duff; his mother, Lisa Stilwell of Huntingburg; two sisters, Kaylyn (Ryan) Vaupel of Jasper and Lexi Long of Duff; two stepbrothers, Chase Bowman and Clayton Bowman both of Duff; and grandparents, Darlene & Charlie Franzell of Duff and Sharon Denu of Duff.

Funeral services for Andrew Long, Jr., will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Mayo Cemetery near Duff.  Pastor Steve Stilwell will officiate at the funeral service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 4:00-8:00 p.m., on Friday.
