INDOT and Lloyd4U are teaming up to host a displaced left turn education event on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, from 5 to 7 PM at Evansville Christian School, located at 10644 Lincoln Avenue in Newburgh.

The public will have the chance to walk through a large visualization of the soon-to-open Epworth Road innovative intersection, view project maps, and watch educational videos on the displaced left-turn intersections.

Epworth Road is the first of four displaced left turn intersections coming to the Lloyd Expressway. Other innovative intersections are expected along the Lloyd such as reduced conflict intersections and a hybrid innovative intersection that includes elements of both a displaced left turn and a reduced conflict intersection.
