The Celestine Fire Department has received a $30,000 grant from the Dubois County Community Foundation to acquire a new fire engine. Engine 262 is expected to be delivered in late 2025, taking the place of their current model from 2003. The new equipment will have features aimed at improving the department’s response and efficiency.
