Starting on Monday, August 26, 2024, the Dubois County Health Department will be offering flu vaccinations for any individual wanting to protect themselves this flu season.

The flu vaccine is covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and most private health insurances.

Daily walk-in flu shots are available from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday – Friday.

You may also use the convenient drive-thru between 8:30-3:30 pm Monday – Friday.  The drive-thru option is open to any individuals 12 years of age and older.  This is a safe and effective way to get your family vaccinated against the flu this year without ever leaving your car! They encourage everyone to come experience the convenience of our drive-thru option.

To accommodate after hour vaccinations, they will also be holding four late night vaccine clinics at the Dubois County Health Department on the following dates: (no appointment needed)

September 11th and 25th 2024, from 3:30pm to 6:00pm

October 9th and 23rd 2024, from 3:30pm to 6:00pm

All vaccines will be available inside the building and the drive-thru options are Flu, RSV, and Covid-19 when it becomes available.
