Mentors for Youth is excited to announce the launch of its “31 Supporters in 31 Days” Challenge, running from August 1 to August 31, 2024. This initiative aims to engage 31 new supporters over the course of the month to help provide essential support and mentorship for children aged 6-14 in Dubois County.

Many of us have had mentors who significantly impacted our lives, offering valuable skills, career inspiration, and lasting values. These mentors provided guidance that shaped how we view ourselves and the world, making us feel valued and capable. Every child deserves this kind of support, and that’s where Mentors for Youth steps in.

The organization’s mission is to match children with compassionate mentors who dedicate their time and attention to listening, encouraging, and supporting these young individuals. Currently, Mentors for Youth has 33 active mentor matches to support, and there are still 10 children on their waitlist eagerly awaiting the guidance a mentor can provide.

To address this need, the “31 Supporters in 31 Days” Challenge seeks to attract 31 new supporters within the month of August. How can you get involved?
