On the afternoon of Sunday, September 8th, 2024, a Gibson County deputy served a search warrant at 820 South Hart Street in Princeton after gathering intelligence that illegal drug activity was being conducted at the residence. The search warrant had previously been submitted to the Gibson County Prosecutor’s Office and was signed off by an impartial Gibson County Court Official. 
 
Once the search warrant and an investigation were completed, 43-year-old, James Austin Jr, and 38-year-old, Desiree Hornback, both of Princeton, were booked into the Gibson County Jail. 
 
Austin is facing charges of Dealing of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Resisting Law Enforcement, and Hornback is charged with Dealing of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Paraphernalia.
