The Martin County Ambulance Services has been awarded a $20,000 grant from the Martin County Community Foundation. The funding, part of the foundation’s quarterly Impact and Boost Grants, will support the department’s Transport Optimization Project, enhancing the efficiency of patient loading and hospital transport. The grant was one of eleven awarded in the latest round, which totaled over $101,000 for local organizations. The foundation reviews and awards these grants through an online application process each quarter.
