This Sunday, November 3, marks the end of daylight saving time, meaning Hoosiers will “fall back” an hour at 2 a.m., which will revert to 1 a.m. This time change will result in earlier sunrises and sunsets in the coming months.

While most devices will adjust automatically, residents should remember to manually change any clocks and watches. In addition to gaining an extra hour of sleep, the American Red Cross recommends using this opportunity to check and replace batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide alarms to enhance home safety.

Looking ahead, daylight saving time will resume on Sunday, March 9, 2025, when clocks will spring forward again.
