Kimball Electronics, headquartered in Jasper, has earned a spot on the 2024 list of Indiana’s Best Places to Work in Manufacturing, an honor presented by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. This annual statewide competition, now in its third year, recognizes employers in the manufacturing sector that promote positive workplace cultures.

Indiana’s manufacturing industry is a key driver of the state’s economy, with companies across various regions playing significant roles. The 2024 honorees span locations including Evansville, Indianapolis, Jasper, Noblesville, Poseyville, Sharpsville, and Urbana. These companies, ranging in size from 30 to 607 employees, were selected based on employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys, conducted by the Workforce Research Group. The feedback helps organizations refine their employee retention and recruitment efforts.

Kimball Electronics, also a 2023 honoree, is among the seven companies recognized this year. Kalenborn Abresist Corporation of Urbana, a previous two-time first-place winner, continues to be a prominent name on the list.

The 2024 rankings will be revealed at the Best IN Manufacturing Awards Luncheon, scheduled for December 11, where the winner of the Coolest Thing Made IN Indiana competition will also be announced. The event, open to the public, is sponsored by Purdue Manufacturing Extension Partnership (Purdue MEP), with additional support from Kalenborn Abresist Corporation and Evonik Tippecanoe Laboratories.

Along with the awards ceremony, the honorees will be featured in a special section of the Indiana Chamber’s BizVoice® magazine, celebrating their achievements and contributions to the industry.

Tickets for the event, including individual seats and group tables, are available for purchase through the Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s website.
