Southeast Dubois County School Corporation has upgraded its school bus safety measures by installing stop-arm cameras on its fleet. The new equipment, funded by a donation from The Mobel Foundation and other community partners, will record vehicles that illegally pass stopped school buses when stop signs are extended and red lights are flashing.

The school corporation emphasized the importance of driver awareness, reminding motorists to stop when bus stop arms are deployed, remain vigilant in school zones and neighborhoods, and follow traffic laws to protect students.

School officials expressed gratitude to the Mobel Foundation and other community supporters for their contributions to student safety initiatives, and encouraged community members to help spread awareness about school bus safety regulations.
