The Jasper Street Department will close a section of Mill Street between 9th and 13th Streets on Thursday, June 26, for surface asphalt placement in trenches across the roadway.
Due to extreme heat in the forecast, the closure may be extended to allow additional time for the asphalt to cool properly before reopening to traffic.
Drivers are advised to use Main Street or Vine Street as alternate routes during the closure.
