The Perry County Health Department is hosting a Back-to-School Immunization Bash on Wednesday, July 16, from 3 to 6 p.m. Central Time. The event will take place at the health department office located at 3214 Tell Street in Tell City.

Families can enjoy face painting, door prizes, and school supply giveaways while ensuring their children are up to date on required school immunizations. Incoming kindergarteners, 6th graders, and 12th graders are reminded that they need to receive certain immunizations before the first day of school.

In addition to the July 16 bash, the health department will also be on-site for vaccine clinics at area schools. They will be at Cannelton on Tuesday, July 22, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., William Tell Elementary on Tuesday, July 29, from 5 to 7 p.m., and Perry Central on Monday, August 4, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Pre-registration is strongly recommended for all events. Residents can register by scanning the QR code on the flyer or by visiting the health department’s online form at form.jotform.com/250335149606051.

These clinics are open to Indiana residents only. Anyone with questions or needing an alternative appointment time can call the Perry County Health Department at 812-547-2746.
