The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure for U.S. 50 in Martin and Lawrence Counties.

Beginning on or around Monday, July 14, crews will close U.S. 50 near Shoals and Huron. This closure will occur between U.S. 150 and State Road 60.

This road closure will allow for a chip and seal road maintenance project. Work is expected to take a week to complete, depending on the weather.

The official detour for this project is State Road 37 to U.S. 150. Local traffic will have access during this project.
