The Orange County Community Foundation recently presented a check for $2,485.77 to Orange County CASA-Indiana (Court Appointed Special Advocates). The funds will be used to purchase new laptops to support CASA’s volunteer training programs, providing critical tools for those who advocate for children in foster care.

CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to represent children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. They visit children monthly, communicate with everyone involved in the case, and advocate for what is in each child’s best interest until a safe and permanent home is found, whether that is reunification with family, adoption, or placement with a relative.

The donation was made in recognition of the ongoing efforts of CASA Director Robin Brown, the CASA team, and all volunteers who work to give vulnerable children a stronger voice and a brighter future.
