Perry Central Community School Corporation’s Commodore Construction students have started work on their third Habitat for Humanity house. Framing for the project began on Monday.

This year’s build carries special meaning, as the home is being built for one of Perry Central’s own, Lexi Ayer, and her family. The school expressed excitement for the project and appreciation for its ongoing partnership with Habitat for Humanity.

Under the direction of teacher Josh Craney, students will continue construction throughout the school year, gaining hands-on experience while giving back to the community.
