Greater Jasper Consolidated Schools is spotlighting longtime educator Trisha Pfau in its ongoing “Portrait of a Wildcat” series. Pfau, a 5th grade teacher at Jasper Elementary School, has dedicated her career to guiding and inspiring young learners.

A 1983 graduate of Jasper High School, Pfau’s roots run deep within the district. Her education at Fifth Street and Jasper Middle School, along with the encouragement of teachers who invested in her success, helped shape the foundation for her future career in education.

After completing her studies, Pfau chose to return to GJCS as a staff member, motivated by her love for the Jasper community and her desire to give back. She says the opportunity to influence the lives of students in the same way her teachers once inspired her has been a driving force throughout her career.

Pfau describes being a Wildcat as a source of pride, reflecting the strength of the community and the commitment shown in both academics and athletics.

More on Pfau’s story can be found at the link shared on the GJCS Facebook page.
