Sunday, October 5, promises a full day of music, makers, and memory-making as the Lincoln Amphitheatre will host its season-ending concert event at 4 p.m. (CT)—Chrome Horse and their full band celebration to Bob Dylan’s legendary songbook. But the celebration doesn’t stop at the stage — guests can also explore Young Abe’s Country Craft Fair, featuring nearly 40 artisan vendors and local eats from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (CT), and sip their way through Sips then Songs, a free wine tasting from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (CT) spotlighting Monkey Hollow and Bottom of the Barrel wines. Whether you come for the harmonica or the handmade, this Sunday is all about timeless tunes and community spirit.

This special Amp Unplugged matinee is presented with support from the Friends of Lincoln State Park and will feature stirring renditions of classics such as “Like a Rolling Stone”, “Tangled Up in Blue”, and “Blowin’ in the Wind”, alongside nots to pivotal eras such as Newport in 1965 and the iconic Blood on the Tracks sessions.

“Bob Dylan’s music has always been about connection, reflection, and reinvention,” said Marc Steczyk, director of the Lincoln Amphitheatre.  “Chrome Horse will bring that spirit to life in one of Indiana’s most unique venues in an intimate, joyful, and deeply resonant way.”

Tickets for the concert are all general admission and are $19.95 per.  They can be purchased at www.LincolnAmphitheatre.com, directly at the event’s ticketing page https://tinyurl.com/ChromeHorse, or by calling the Lincoln Amphitheatre box office at 812-937-2329.  Children 12 and under can attend the event for free.

Why Dylan, why now? With the recent success of A Complete Unknown, the biopic that reignited global interest in Dylan’s life and lyrics, this event offers fans a chance to experience the music live — raw, real, and right in their own backyard. Whether you’re a lifelong Dylan devotee or a curious newcomer, this tribute is your invitation to step into the story.

The Lincoln Amphitheatre’s 2025 performance series is presented by the Spencer County Community Foundation & the Perry County Community Foundation.
